Gestern habe ich gelernt, dass wenn man um halb eins in den Speisesaal geht, da immer schon jemand ist den man kennt, und dadurch noch mehr Leute aus dem Institut kennenlernt. Aber um kurz nach eins ist da dann schon wieder tote Hose. Der Speisesaal ist recht cool, es gibt 2 große Kaffeemaschinen, die einem jede Art von Kaffeevariante machen die man möchte, ich nutze sie allerdings nur für heißes Wasser weil daneben auch noch eine Auswahl an Tees bereitstellen. Das faszinierendste finde ich jedoch die 9 Mikrowellen!
Ich war mittlerweile auch schon im Labor, allerdings nur um Proben abzugleichen. Aber es passiert etwas und mein Projekt scheint ins Rollen zu geraten. Ich habe heute auch erfahren das mir sämtliche Bücher die ich als Lektüre für Kurse benötige bezahlt werden. Supercool!
Yesterday I learned that when you go to the cafeteria at 12:30, there will be someone I know and then I will also meet new people through them. But shortly after 1pm it will be dead there. The cafeteria is pretty neat, they have 2 huge coffee machines that make any kind of fancy coffee you want, but I mostly just use it for hot water because there is also an assortment of teas. The most fascinating to me, however, are the 9 microwaves!
By now I was also in the lab, but I only cross checked samples. But at least something is happening and my project is picking up. I also heard that any book I need for lectures will be paid for. Awesome!

Das sieht ja total niedlich aus, das Städtchen und Flüßchen! Der Arbeitsplatz braucht definitiv noch ein bisschen Deko!
