kubb and welcome reception

mein Computer ist im Moment in der Reparatur daher nur sporadische Updates. Letzten Freitag haben wir an einem Kubb Tournament teilgenommen und kläglich verloren. Naja, zumindest ein Spiel von dreien haben wir gewonnen. Aber ins Finale haben wir es damit nicht geschafft... ansonsten war mein Wochenende ereignislos, was auch ganz nett war. Sonntags war ich shoppen, neue Pullis, warme Strumpfhosen und Pumps. Das alles wurde heute auf die Willkommensgala getragen. Allerdings musste man da viel stehen daher hab ich irgendwann zu Turnschuhen gewechselt. Die Gala fand im Gustavanium statt und diesmal hab ich es auch ins Anatomie Theater geschafft. Der Raum wurde früher genutzt um Medizinstudenten an Autopsien teilnehmen zu lassen und ist echt sehenswert. Die Ränge sind so konzipiert, dass man nicht umfällt wenn man bewusstlos wird und die wandfarben sind so gewählt, dass man die Flecken nicht so sieht wenn sich mal einer übergibt.

My computer is currently being repaired so there is only going to be sporadic updates. Last Friday we participated in a Kubb tournament and lost. Well, at least we won one game or of 3. But we did not make it to the finales this way. Other than that my weekend was really not exciting which was nice. Sundays i went shopping for new sweaters, warm tights, and heels which I was wearing for the welcome reception. But we had to stand a lot during that so I switched to sneakers after a while. The reception was at Gustavanium and this time I also made it to the anatomical theater. This room was used to show dissections to medical students and is very recommendable to go see.  The ranks are designed so you can't fall over when you faint and the colors of the wall are chosen so you don't see the stains when someone threw up.

Neue Schuhe - new shoes

Es regnet... Aber die Produktivität hat mich wieder. Zumindest etwas. Gestern kamen endlich die Koffer und es war auch noch alles drin. Also habe ich gestern ausgepackt und mein Zimmer eingeräumt und dann einen Spa-Tag eingelegt. Frische Klamotten und die eigenen Kosmetikartikel nach 6 Tagen ohne muss man ja feiern. Gut das war jetzt eher weniger produktiv. Aber dafür bin ich heute zum Einwohnermeldeamt. Dort habe ich dann eineinhalb Stunden gewartet bis ich dran war und habe dann von der Angestellten gesagt bekommen ich solle doch meinen Antrag auf Wohnrecht lieber online ausfüllen, das wird dann viel schneller erledigt als im Amt. Also völlig umsonst dorthin getappelt. Dann bin ich in die Stadt und habe mich bei der Bank erkundigt was ich so zum Konto eröffnen benötige und war noch etwas shoppen. Habe jetzt ein kleines Schwedisch-Englisch Wörterbuch und einen Stadtplan, beides für die Handtasche und Joggingschuhe (aus der letzten Saison in PINK!!!). Ich wollte eigentlich noch nach Fahrrädern schauen, aber da es nieselte wollte ich jetzt nicht mit einem neuen (oder auch gebrauchten) Fahrrad nach Hause radeln.

It's raining... But productivity has me back. At least a little. My luggage finally arrived yesterday, with everything still inside. So I unpacked and stored it all and then had a spa-day. Clean clothes and my own cosmetics after 6 days without just had to be celebrated. Okay that was not really productive. But today I went to the Migrations office. I waited in line for one and a half hours until I was called up and then the clerk told me that I just submit my form to register for my right of residence online because the decision will be made much faster that way than at the office. So I walked all the way there to no avail. Afterwards I went downtown, talked to a teller about opening an account and shopped. I got a small swedish-english dictionary and a city map both for my purse and some jogging shoes (from last season and in PINK!!!). I actually wanted to check for bikes but since it was drizzling I didn't want to ride my new (or used) bike home.
